I like this puff pastry dessert because it’s easy to pull together and looks like a lot more work than it is. If you can find a top quality puff pastry like Dufour, it really does improve it, But in a clench I’ve used Pepperidge Farms.

Fresh Heirloom Tomato Puff Pastry Recipe

This is very easy to prepare and a great way to use up tomatoes. If you can’t find wonderful summer tomatoes, it really isn’t worth the effort. The key to this is the freshness of the ingredients.
